CHOCOLATE WITH FRUIT AND NUTS : Tribal Fusion -  Smooth Moves With Juicy, Crunchy Bits
 
 2-4pm Sunday August 15 Tribal Fusion is a relatively new form of experimental belly dance that derives from American Tribal Style. It incorporates Tribal elements with Egyptian and contemporary Western forms of dance to create a sensuous, gritty style that is often referred to as ‘Industrial Gypsy’ or ‘Dark Cabaret’. Learn muscle control with chocolaty, sinuous undulations combined with juicy moves and crunchy, nutty locks and pops in this Tribal Fusion taster workshop!
 
DARK CHOCOLATE :  A Deliciously Devilish Dark Fusion Routine
2-4pm Sunday November 7th
 
Join Melusina (Red Belly Black Tribal) for a journey into dance decadence! This workshop will teach you exciting new fusion moves in a routine that will have you melting. Learn rich, smooth, chocolaty movements involving precise muscle control and hypnotizing musical synchronicity. Let your body thrill with bitter-sweetness! Be tempted by the dark side!

Melusina is an exceptionally talented dancer and teacher. Her love of dance is evident in the exhilaration she expresses when immersing herself in music and allowing her emotions to surge through her body. Dance for Melusina ‘is an experience of great exhilaration’. Melusina has taught in America and New Zealand and frequently travels around Australia teaching and performing her unique styles. She has been one of the principle dancers and teachers at Underbelly Dance since 2000 where she teaches weekly classes in all styles and levels. Melusina is an acclaimed choreographer and many of her routines have been praised for their originality and beauty. She is artistic director and creator of the Tribal format, Red Belly Black, which is used by dance troupes around Australia and she regularly trains and dances with the Underbelly dance troupe.
